Hi, I'm Edel.

I'm the creator of Creative Mama Media, the company The Keepsake Song Co. was born from. I run several successful businesses, with heart and soul at the centre of each.

I'm a photographer, course creator and certified business & mindset coach, a mum of three and a SEN parent, living in a sleepy village in South Staffordshire, England. At heart, I love empowering others and capturing what's important in life, and I've loved poetry, words, language and music for as long as I can remember.

Years ago, I had a song made for my daughter. She was three at the time, and non-verbal. The song told the story of her journey and our family, and it still means the absolute world to us. It cost over £250, and it was worth every penny.

The things that matter most aren't always easy to say out loud. Sometimes they need a different way in.

Through my photography I've always been about real moments and true connection, so I started adding personalised songs to my clients' galleries as a surprise. One client pressed play, got a few seconds in and burst into tears. The good kind. The kind that says "I feel seen".

Then, when my own dad passed away, I wrote and created the song for his funeral. Months later, people are still talking about it. It was him in a nutshell, and he would have been so proud to hear it.

That's when I knew this shouldn't only be for my photography clients. I created The Keepsake Song Co. so that anyone can give that same feeling, at a price that doesn't need saving up for.

What do I need to send you?

A short voice note. Straight after checkout you'll get your story form with a few quick questions, and the key part is a two to three minute voice note about your person. Send it to me on WhatsApp, or record yourself and paste in a transcription. If you get stuck, there's a list of talking points on this page to help.

How long does it take?

Turnaround is 3–7 days from when I receive your details.

Can I hear it before it's finished?

Yes. You'll get to preview your song first, so you know you love it before it's finalised.

What if I don't love it?

If anything needs changing after your preview, one revision is included. If you're not happy with your preview, you get a full refund. Once your finished song has been delivered, all digital sales are final and no refunds are given. Your happiness really matters to me, though, so if something still isn't right after your revision, get in touch and I'll do everything I can to put it right.

What will I receive?

A completely original song, the written lyrics and a full MP3. The Keepsake Bundle also adds a lyric artwork with your own photo and a second version of your song in a different style.

How are the songs made?

I use AI to help capture all the details of your person and to produce the music. Then I take over the words. I've loved poetry, language and songwriting all my life, and I revise, refine and rewrite every lyric until it sounds exactly like the person it's for. You get truly personal words with heart and meaning, not generic “AI slop”, at a fraction of a studio price.

Is it really written just for us?

Yes. Every song is written from scratch around your story. No templates, no name swapped into an existing track.

Can I choose the style of the song?

Yes. You can choose the genre, a male or female singer, the type of mood, and more.

What occasions is it for?

Birthdays, partners, children, anniversaries, special memories and even emotional tribute pieces. If there's a story behind it, it can become a song.

Can you make a song in memory of someone?

Yes. Some of the most meaningful songs are tribute pieces. Share the memories that matter most and I'll create something gentle and personal to honour them.

Can I get more than one version?

Yes. Christmas orders need to be in by 16 December, so your song is ready in time.
